6/30/2009 - ENCOMPASS LIGHTING DONATES 1,025 POUNDS OF FOOD TO THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY
SKOKIE, IL, JUNE 30, 2009 – Encompass Lighting Group recently participated in the “One City, One Food Drive” campaign for THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY. Our family here at ELG demonstrated an overwhelming level of generosity, and we far exceeded our goal of 345 units of food raising a total of 1,115 units or 1,025 pounds. In response to our donation, we recently received the following thank you note from Kate Maehr, Executive Director of The Greater Chicago Food Depository. Particularly during these challenging times, we at ELG are grateful for what we have, and know that those less fortunately could use our help. We look forward to participating in our next food drive and supporting our local community....
